Beginning May 6th, 2016, we are using decadently creamy peanut butter in our classic Chocolate Chewy Nut Bar (peanut butter has replaced the cashew butter we used to use).
After much taste testing and recipe development in our dairy, egg, wheat & gluten-free bakery, we are excited to bring you this flavour enhancement!
Over the next couple of weeks, our new Chocolate Chewy Nut Bar will be on store shelves ready for you to sink your teeth into. It’s no secret how much we enjoy baking sinfully delicious desserts, but recently we’ve been on a mission to create the ultimate breakfast bagel,  and we’re excited to announce that we’ve done it, and we can’t wait for you to try them!

Our new whole wheat bagels and mini bagels are made using traditional methods of boiling and then baking, with only high quality, all-natural, gmo-free, plant-based ingredients. They’re great for the whole family to enjoy for breakfast, lunch, or an on-the-go snack. Because they’re made in our peanut, nut, and sesame free facility, they’re safe to pack for school lunches, too.

We use no preservatives in any of our products, so our bagels are kept frozen and should be pulled out and enjoyed within one day. We recommend toasting and topping with your favourite spreads for maximum crunchy, chewy deliciousness.

We proudly introduce the newest addition to our product line: K’s NRG Whole Food Energy Bars! These little powerhouses will satisfy your hunger at any time of day and provide sustained energy for work, school, or play. The select gluten-free ingredients used in all three varieties of our nutrient-rich bars (Original, Cherry, and Coconut Chocolate) provide maximum nutrition. K’s NRG features a combination of wholesome ingredients that boost energy and endurance, and contain protein, fiber, antioxidants, and micronutrients. Enjoy the perks of plant-based nutrition from an all-natural, unprocessed bar. It’s wholesome real food with fast food ease.

In addition to brown rice syrup, K’s NRG bars are sweetened with blackstrap molasses, which contains significant amounts of vitamin B6 as well as iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and manganese. Eating one bar provides 30% of the recommended daily value of iron, as well as 8 (Coconut Chocolate) or 9 (Original and Cherry) grams of protein.

We’ll be making Challah and Babka again this year for the holidays! As with all of our baking, they are kosher, and vegan, and this special bread is also organic, sesame-free, and baked in our nut-free facility. These specials are only available by special order, directly from our bakery.

We are offering a Standard Braided Loaf, a Round Raisin Crown Loaf, and a Cinnamon Babka.

According to food lore, when Amish farmers would discover these treats in their lunch pails, they’d shout “Whoopie!” Now you’ll have the opportunity to do the same (though you may get some funny looks from your fellow diners at Fresh).

We’ve been busy, and as if we didn’t have enough delicious treats to keep you busy, add our new Whoopie Pies to your must-try list. If you enjoy marshmallow cream-filled chocolate cookie sandwiches (who doesn’t?), this one’s for you. It’s just the right size to have after a meal — or any time, of course!

Summer tastes like fresh berries, and the berry-lovers out there will love what we’ve been busy making. It’s the Berry Pie Crumble Square, and here’s how we do it:

First, we roll out an organic spelt flour crust

We mix together some juicy wild blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, stir in a little bit of organic evaporated cane juice, and spread the berries evenly over the crust.

Next, we cover the berries with a topping of organic rolled oats and cinnamon.

And make sure that the topping is easily spread.

Finally, we bake it, cut it into pieces, and enjoy.

We also launched our new Cinnamon Bubka at the Vegetarian Food Fair and it was such a hit that we already have orders for Breaking of the Fast, and these too, can be ordered by Wednesday for pick up directly from our bakery.

For Yom Kippur, orders must be in by September 11th.

Our September Muffin of the Month is… Fruit Sweetened Banana Cranberry

Now you can have your muffin and eat it too! This treat tastes just as moist and delicious as our other muffins, but it’s completely free of evaporated cane juice, sweetened instead by bananas, dates, and apples, and full of tangy dried cranberries.
